Help ! -my Husband needs treatment of Stress,Anxiety and Depression

Wives of men who are burning out in busy pressured jobs are often the first ones to seek help for their spouses. Men see the need for help as a sign of failure and having been conditioned by society, their parents, friends, working colleagues and working environment to be an ultimately coping machines-they cannot make the transition to admitting the need for help unless assisted to do so.
This is not a fault- it is an almost inevitable consequence of their place in society. This dynamic is changing but, not fast enough for many men who are stuck with the frustration of  the lows and further lows of being crushed by stress, anxiety and depression.
Traditionally- help comes in the form of Medication, Therapy and support from the family. This is not enough in many cases and relapse or lack of improvement becomes a common pattern.
The all rounded structured tailored Medico-Holistic approach is the best way of ensuring that the care of the person  addresses every area  of that person and their life which has become denatured.
Medical Care which also encompasses physical illness as well as psychiatric care is vital.Sometimes a persons unwellness is just as related to missed medical illnesses as it is to mind issues. Combining a complete Medical Care Package with Psychotherapy, Psychology, Hypnotherapy and using all the relevant recent developments in therapy including Neuro-Linguistic Programming- adds another strong arm to a persons journey to wellness.
Massage, Acupuncture, Reiki, Reflexology, Meditation, and Aromatherapy when part of the daily experience enhance relaxation, relief of tension, release of negative thoughts and positive conditioning of the Mind.
Physical Fitness instruction, Physiotherapy if needed, Yoga and Pilates as part of the Programme work together with all the above to build up stamina, energy levels and a sense of wellness.
Peak Nutrition meals and rest and contemplation time round of  the most thorough, supportive, care Package that will strongly treat Stress,Anxiety and Depression.
Follow up with support after discharge from a Clinic is crucial to allow the transition to local support services to be successful and for all the learnt strategies to be continuous in the Home environment.
This all-encompassing Medico-Holistic approach is breaking new ground and the results are very exciting.

What should you do when all the usual routes for help fail.

To start with -don't despair ! You are not alone. Start by taking time out in a comfortable setting with a warm drink, relax - now...separate and articulate all the issues that you have to deal with-offending or not. Paper and a pen or sharp pencil-for the satisfaction of crisp writing !-will help.
This is a 7 Step process.
Step 1- step by step - take your time-write down all the areas of your life that need sorting out. Be brutally truthful with yourself. Everything must be thought through-work, home, social life, relationships-ALL of them !.
Keep going -the list will be a good one. Theses will be the areas that will be addressed one step at a time.
Seeing them written down on paper will already begin the process of organising progress. Your mind will see what you are experiencing in clearer focus and by following the 7 Steps-you can resolve difficulties and find the positive way forward.
Good Luck ! Let me know how you get on.
If you would like to know about the 7 Steps in detail -just ask.
